Hand-painted Custom portraits of your pet
the Ordering Process is simple
STEP 1: GATHER YOUR PHOTOS
Good quality photographs for a pet portrait are key. The more photos you can provide, the better the portrait will be. One main clear and in-focus photo will be used for the painting, but multiple shots are helpful to capture detail. Ideally, take your photos outside in natural daylight from multiple angles. If you are looking to put two or more pets together in the same painting, it is not necessary to take photos of them together, however, it is helpful to have a few pictures of them together to reference their size differences. I often combine individual photos to create one scene. Send photos in their original size, please do not resize. Photos and instructions can be emailed to info@paintingsbychristine.com
STEP 2: CHOOSE YOUR CANVAS SIZE AND MAKE YOUR DEPOSIT
A $100 deposit is required to begin work on your project regardless of which size you choose. Once I receive your photos, your deposit, and your size and background preferences I will begin working on your custom portrait. Scroll down to see a list of size options.
STEP 3: APPROVE YOUR COMPLETED PORTRAIT AND PAY BALANCE
Pet portraits usually take 4-6 weeks for completion. A photograph of your finished portrait will be sent to you for final approval. After receiving confirmation that you are pleased with your portrait, an invoice for your balance will be sent and your portrait will be prepared for shipping. Before packing them in the mailing box, all portraits are wrapped in cellophane to keep them free from dust. At this time, I do not offer framing. If you are taking your portrait to your local framer, please keep your painting wrapped in the cellophane until it has been framed. A certificate of authenticity will also be included with every portrait.
